Early Childhood Ireland Awards ceremony 2012

Little Friends Playschool Swords received Four Awards on the night including:

    • Innovation Awards Overall Winner 2012 a great achievement for our service being selected as overall winners up against Childcare Facilities from all over the country.
    • We also received an Award, for recognition of our Siolta Quality Validation by the Department of Education and Skills.
    • We received an Innovations in Community Involvement Award for a range of different projects we documented with the children familiarizing them with their local and extended community including a project involving Temple Street Children’s Hospital.
    • And A Learning Story Award for a Project on Healthy eating and caring for our Teeth.

Our documented work has been used as examples for training purposes in Workshops by Early Childhood Ireland and the Fingal County Childcare Committee.
